A Rachel or a Brooke?

Which am I?

Probably right at this moment you're thinking 'What in the blue blazes is she talking about?'. Personality tests, of course. Today's Blogtember challenge (I know-I said I was too busy this month. Well, I made an exception!) is taking the Myers-Briggs personality test.
I just can't pass up a personality test so I convinced the hubby to take it with me and together we answered all 70 something questions. Hubby took his once and his results were pretty much spot on (more about his below). Me? Well, I took this test three times with three different versions and I got the same result all three times. But it was a result I really wasn't expecting (hence my retaking it). Turns out I'm an ISFP which in non-alphabet speak means Introverted Sensory Feeling Perceptive. The real problem I had with that was the introverted part--I've pretty much considered myself an Extrovert for most of my life. Bearing that in mind, I've decided I'm a mix of both and because of that I'm adding both definitions.
ISFP (introverted)--ISFP Artists live in the present and yearn for freedom. They are artistic, aesthetically inclined and sensitive. They are happiest when they are being creative and expressing themselves. They are loyal, warm and private. ISFPs are cooperative and adaptable. They seek the balance between closeness and independence.

Jacqueline Kennedy, Rachel from Friends, Flounder from the Little Mermaid, Fred Astaire
ESFP (extroverted)--ESFP Entertainers are fun-loving and outgoing. They seek an audience to listen to their stories and adventures. They love being the center of attention. They are people-oriented and dislike being alone. Their harmonious and lively nature makes ESFPs popular and very likeable. They enjoy action, new experiences and a life filled with excitement.

Elizabeth Taylor, Donkey from Shrek, Marilyn Monroe, Ronald Reagan

What's the Hubby?
The hubby happens to be an INTJ. Which stands for Introverted Intuition Thinking Judging. I think both of us were surprised at how closely this fit him. It even listed the military as one of the best career choices.
Dwight Eisenhower, Mr Darcy, Gandalf, Isaac Newton
INTJ (introverted)--INTJs are energized by spending time alone. They typically have fewer friends and prefer small groups. They are private, quiet and deliberate. They are always thinking and analyzing, very deep and abstract. They are complex on the inside and see endless possibilities. They are objective and logical. They are critical, impersonal and thick-skinned. INTJs are structured and scheduled. They are controlled and responsible. They seek closure and enjoy completing tasks.

I just HAD to add this last picture (even though I'm a mix of ESFP) because it made me laugh really hard.  Seriously though sometimes when the hubby is getting really technical this is probably how we look!!!

So there we are. Our personalities in a teensy bitty nutshell?
Have you taken the test?
Check out one of the sweetest ladies I know
