All Aboard the Fitness Train

I have a confession to make--I hate exercising. Like seriously, I am that person who thinks the gym is the place you wear cute little sports tanks and tiny shorts and stare at the hunky shirtless guys pumping weights. Oh and you wear tons of makeup (so you look cute for said hunky shirtless guys) and never ever ever break a sweat (because really who wants to be all smelly and drippy in front of cute boys)
I have never ever even uttered the words 'I'm gonna go work out' in my entire 22/almost 23 years and so far the not exercising thing hasn't been too bad for me. I mean, I can't do a pull up to save my life but I also don't have to sign up for an expensive gym membership or search high and low for a sports bra that doesn't let my boobs fly up and hit my face (this is actually a really big problem for me, believe it or not). And believe it or not this no-fitness thing has been working for me.....UNTIL NOW!

The other day I was feeling a little nostalgic and tried on my wedding dress only to find that, no matter how much I wiggled and held my breath, it just was not going to zip. I was floored--I mean, I had been noticing that my shorts were a little tighter than usual but I didn't think it was getting that bad!
Sure enough, I jumped on the scale and my weight was up a good 15 pounds. This is just not right, my friends. The other day I read this lovely post on the blog Love, the Skinnys that explains that there is such a thing as the Marriage 15. Yes, yes--it is true that the weight gain from freshmen year comes back to bite you the first year you're married.
My question is--why hasn't the hubby gained twenty pounds? Let's see-he works out at the gym every day for a few hours, he runs-a lot and doesn't eat sweets.....I could continue. This one-sided weight gain just doesn't seem fair. And it's especially not fair that hubby is LOSING weight. I'm convinced that I gain the pounds that he loses--scary thought.
So what's my point in all of this? Well, Little Miss No Exercise over here has decided to get her butt in gear and start exercising. Yes sir, I have officially hopped on the Fitness Train. Right now, it's Zumba Fitness (which really works for me because I love dancing) but I'm planning on including all the non-fun stuff like wall sits and situps into my regimen.
The hubby has also offered to exercise with me but I think that might be a little too intimidating for a first timer like me. After all, the guy can bench 400 lbs and little old me can barely lift 50 without some serious arm shaking. So for right now, I'll be sticking to my Zumba and my 'girly' exercises.
What is your fitness regimen?
Any exercises you suggest I add to my daily routine?

Check out one of the sweetest ladies I know
