Now that we've reviewed, on to the very first installment of the fall linkup!

What I Love about Fall

This is by far one of my favorite topics because it gives me a chance to remember all of the best things about growing up in New England. As most of you know, the hubby and I live in Hawaii right now so any chance to revisit the autumn of my childhood makes me feel just a little less homesick.

The gorgeous colors of the White Mountains

New England is definitely known for its gorgeous foliage. The minute the leaves start turning from green to yellow, it seems like only a few days pass before the forests are bursting with color. There is absolutely nothing that feels like fall more than driving up a country road surrounded by trees painted orange, yellow, and red. Talk about your very own Bob Ross painting!

Pumpkin Spice Lattes

I know, I know--you've probably heard enough about this tasty fall treat by now. And if you're like some people (my husband included), you're wondering just what makes everybody go nuts for this drink. I'll tell you why! It tastes like fall in a cup! You just can't beat fall in a cup, people!

THANKSGIVING!!!!

via
Last year was the first time I had ever cooked Thanksgiving dinner by myself. I totally have Paula Deen to thank for how well my dinner went (it was just Zach and I but it was still uber stressful for me--thank heavens for Paula). Here's to another good Thanksgiving dinner this year!

Kiddos at play

Isn't my niece the cutest little person you've ever seen? (I love that the pumpkin is almost as big as she is in this picture). Fall just brings out the kid in everybody. Jumping in a pile of leaves anybody? Fall to me is all about family--and kids just represent the best of a family in my opinion.

What do you love about fall?
