Why hello there lovelies!
We have two really important things to talk about today. Numero Uno--I was looking at my Bloglovin profile and, loves, Army Ever After now has 199 followers--that's like one away from 200, y'all! It seems like not that long ago that the only people who read my blog were the hubs and the moms 1 & 2. So often during this blogging journey of mine, I've let myself compare my little piece of the internet to other people's but today I'm just going to take a minute and embrace the happiness that is reaching one of my blog goals. Pretty much the best feeling ever!! A really big thank you to all of my lovely readers (and if any of you wants to help me a little and become my 200th follower I would be ever so grateful! Ok, thanks bunches.)
Now on to the second thing on my to-blog-about list--an amazing new linkup hosted by Hayley and Lauren. I've been a huge fan of Hayley for awhile but I just discovered Lauren's blog and I can't wait to get to know these two ladies even better. Which is exactly what this linkup helps us do! Each week they're sharing a prompt that gives a closer glimpse into the lives of us blogger ladies. This week we're sharing a picture along with three things we like about ourselves.
Let's Get to It!!!
I like my smile.
This one is actually kind of a surprise to me because all through my growing up years I was really ashamed of my smile. I have a pretty noticeable gap in my teeth that is pretty much unfixable and for years I was always very careful to never smile or laugh with my teeth showing. These past few years though I've had so many people comment on the joy they see in my "real smile" that I've grown more confident about it and even embrace it as part of my uniqueness!
I like my sense of humor.
I love that I can laugh at myself. I love that I always find something to giggle over. My sense of humor is a little zany and just a tad bit like a 5-year old boy's. And I really love when I can get other people to laugh too (especially my husband because he needs to laugh more often)--because laughter is really the best medicine.
I like that I'm a people person.
