Anything Goes Art {Creative Collective 3}

I am absolutely loving being a part of Melyssa's Creative Collective these past few months. It's really inspired  me to be more artsy and creative, especially today's prompt.

Hello Bottle-cap Art!!

When I saw the prompt to make art from normal household items, I knew pretty much exactly what I wanted to do--bottle cap art! Despite having lived in our house for almost two years, our walls are still kind of bare so I thought it would be a fun to add a little bit more personality to our living space.

T is the first letter of our last name which is pretty lucky for me (and not just because my maiden name was pretty much unpronouncable) because it's one of the easiest letters to craft.  I had paint, a poster board, frame and the dreaded modge podge on hand already. Thankfully I had much better luck with my modge-podge craft than the last time I used it.

Overall between the painting, the arranging and the gluing, my anything-goes art took me less than two hours to start and complete. Pretty great if you ask me!! And it looks really sweet hanging in my living room.

What kinds of crafts have you been doing recently?
