I Would Like to Thank the Academy

I kind of love award season--the Golden Globes, the Oscars, CMA's--and I kind of love answering questions about myself. Which means that the Liebster Award was pretty much made for me. I've kind of lost count of how many times I've done this but I love it every time! This time Alison from La Vie Ambrose nominated me for the Liebster and she asked such great questions that I couldn't resist!!!!

1) Who would be your dream actor/actress to play you in a movie? Who do you think would actually play you?
My dream actress would definitely be Anne Hathaway because she's fierce but yet clutsy and unusual. I'd like to think she would jump at the chance of playing me in the story of my life but that probably would be a no.

2) What was a profession you used to want to be, but are not now?
When I was in high school, my dream was to become an FBI agent...obviously that's not something I'm doing now but it was my dream job for quite a few years.

3) If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go and for how long?
Could I go on a three-month long trip around the world? Because I'd really love to do that. If I absolutely HAD to pick one place, I'd pick England for however many months that I could.

4) If you could pick one reality show to be on, what would it be?
Well that's a no-brainer, American Idol. I'm not really big into reality shows so that's the only one I can think of.

5) Why did you start blogging? Has it turned out to be what you expected?
I started blogging to connect more with my fellow military spouses and it has turned out to be oh-so-much-better than I ever expected it to be. I've found some really amazing friends through blogging and it has become my way of relaxing and expressing my personality without judgement.

6) What is your favorite movie you've seen this year?
OOOH this is a hard one--I've seen such great movies this year. I loved watching Frozen but I have to say my absolute favorite movie would be Lone Survivor (even if it did make me cry buckets)

7) If you could switch lives with someone for a day, who would the person be?
My hubs.....I'd actually really love to be able to do some of the training that Zach does every day and actually be able to do it because little ol' me would never be able to do half of what he does in a normal day.

8) What was your clique growing up?
Truthfully I never had a clique growing up...I was one of those weirdos who weren't in a clique....the reason behind that was because I was homeschooled and it's really hard to be a clique all by yourself.

9) What's one piece of advice you'd give your younger self?
Everything will be ok. Believe in yourself even when other people don't believe in you. Everything will be fine.

10) What's the best date you've ever been on?
Hmmmm......that one is hard...all of the ones I've been on with my hubs are all amazing.

11) If you could live one day over again, what day would it be?
The day the hubs asked me to be his wife because it pretty much was the best day of my life.
