How I Knew (Casey from Love and Waffles)

Well hi there, y'all!

Today I have my friend Casey from Love and Waffles taking over the blog today. She's a soon-to-be military wife with a great sense of humor and a fun, fresh view of the world.
Take it away, Casey!

I have to be honest, I was struggling as I looked for a topic for my guest post. When Elizabeth emailed me, she said "write a post about love, relationships, advice or the military". Those are all such large topics to write about, and most of you guys probably don't know me.

So because Army Ever After is one of my favorite blogs to read and you can just feel the love Elizabeth has for her husband, I am going to share about my relationship with you guys. I hope this post helps you to get to know me and my fiancé Eric a bit better, and motivates you to come read more about us over at Love and Waffles
I knew it was love when:

I knew it was love when I stopped fighting and started listening.
I knew it was love when he told me how pretty I was after a 10 hour day working at a daycare.
I knew it was love when he drove to my house in the middle of the night because I wanted to talk about my bad day.
I knew it was love when he was patient with me, even when I said I wasn't ready to be with him.
I knew it was love when he always wanted to hold my hand.
I knew it was love when he remembered my favorite restaurant and took me there on our first date.
I knew it was love when I met his family and they were just as amazing as he is.
I knew it was love when he got us tickets for my favorite bands for our first date, even though he wasn't that thrilled about it.
I knew it was love when he watched 3 seasons of Bones from start to finish without telling me he really doesn't like the show.
I knew it was love when he took me to see Tangled in theaters.
I knew it was love because he was so confident it was love. He convinced me that it exists and I finally opened my eyes.

Isn't Casey just the sweetest!!
Head on over to her blog and tell her hi!

What little things let you know that it was love?
