The Way to a Man's Heart {April Directive}

Another month is gone.....y'all March went by really fast!!! I think it might have been because pretty much the whole month was one big long vacation time for us but still it could have stayed a little longer. Anyway though, March was exactly what I needed--time to relax and spend quality time with the hubby.

What is the 2014 Directive
|
The 2014 Directive started on January 1st as a “modern new year’s resolution.” It’s an Instagram & blog link-up structured in a way to maximize success of your goals by setting them on a monthly basis. Whether you need to lose a couple pounds, organize your closet, or save a bit of cash, The 2014 Directive structure will get you there.

There are no strict guidelines for participating and you set your own goals. Whatever is relevant to your life each month!

March 2014 Directive

With that being said, I accomplished pretty much nothing of my March Directive. But then again that was kind of the point of March's Directive--to organize and re-energize and I did just that! If you read my post yesterday you'll know that I've accomplished the organization part thanks to the Kate & Trudy Blog Planner. (PS--you still have time to enter the giveaway!!)

The second part of my directive was to have some kick-butt guest posters take over during my bloggy vacation and I DEFINITELY accomplished that.

April 2014 Directive
|
-Try out new recipe each week and share them on the blog-
-Exercise for 30 minutes every day Monday, Wednesday, and Friday-
-Schedule and write 10 content-heavy posts-

April is Zach's birthday month so pretty much every directive other than exercise has to do in some way with him. He always loves it when we try out new recipes and at least one of them is going to be his birthday cake so look out for that! (Last year I also made his birthday cake but it didn't turn out nearly as well as I wanted it too--this year it'll be perfect!)

And of course, this little blog is going to be on husband overload in honor of 'the big day'. But don't worry they won't be too sappy!

Now it's your turn to link up with Kate & Trudy! What are your goals for this month?
