My Favorite Characters of All Time

So the other day, I shared with y'all five of my very favorite books of all time. I love writing posts like that so I thought I would try another one along that same line.

Today I'm talking about some of my favorite characters. The most important thing to me when I read or watch something is finding a character than I can identify with and who I genuinely love. They're not all from books....some are from movies and a few are from television series but nevertheless, I absolutely love these 8 gals...imaginary or not!!

ONE// BELLE-- Beauty and the Beast was pretty much my favorite movie growing up. Belle was my favorite Disney princess until Rapunzel. She's a reader, she doesn't mind being different from everyone else, she's brave.....she's pretty much the best. Bonus point for being French like me too.

TWO// BROOKE DAVIS--From the very minute I started watching One Tree Hill, I loved Brooke. Well, I pretty much love all the characters from the series but she's definitely my favorite. She's sweet with just the right amount of feisty, she has a heart of gold, a strength of character that I really admire--pretty much if she was real we'd be best friends.

THREE// ANNE-- My mom read me the Green Gables books when I was really little....it was part of our nightly routine...and I loved Anne and all of her eccentricities. And then I watched the movie and I knew that Anne and I were 'kindred spirits'.

FOUR// RORY--If you read this post, you know that I'm a Rory fan. She's just so....me. And I love the whole mother/daughter thing and the whole awkward shy bookworm thing too. Ok....I just love her.

FIVE//HERMIONE--Wow....I can't really think of a better role model for young girls than Hermione. I really REALLY wish I would have discovered her at a younger age but I am definitely going to rectify that mistake with my own children. And she happens to be one of the few characters that I love in both the books and the movies.

SIX//LUCY--Lucy is just so sweet.....she was my absolute favorite character in the Chronicles of Narnia. Lucy just has that childlike innocence and a faith that I envy. Plus I love all of the books.

SEVEN//ELSA--Yep the newest Disney princess made it on my list...and not just because she sings one of my favorite songs ever. I really love the vulnerability that Elsa shows....she, and of course her sister Anna, are two of the most real Disney princesses ever. And can I just say again that I love love LOVE the ending of Frozen? I can and I will--I love the ending!!!

EIGHT//LORELAI--Fast-talking, sarcastic, a sense of humor to die for--that's my other favorite Gilmore girl. Lorelai reminds me a lot of my mom (except she's waaay waaay cooler than any regular mom could ever be in real life). In a nutshell....Lorelai is the best....absolute end of story.

WHAT IS ONE OF YOUR FAVORITE CHARACTERS FROM EITHER A BOOK, MOVIE, OR TV SERIES? DO WE SHARE ANY FAVORITES?
