Happy Friday, lovelies! Remember yesterday in my vlog, I mentioned one question I was going to wait a day to answer? That question was what am I wishing for and the answer is....ta-da....my birthday wishlist!
Because obviously the best part about birthdays, other than the ice cream obviously, is making the list of presents you'd like.
By the way in case you were wondering about the title of this post, I had the tune of 'I'm Wishing' from Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs stuck in my head because it was playing on my Pandora radio station the other day. Not a fan of the song or the movie but, hey, the title really fit! Anyway.....on to my wishlist. Oh and did I mention I have a present for you in the form of a giveaway later on in this post?
//1// Mary Poppins - I'm a HUGE fan of Julie Andres and besides the Sound of Music and the Princess Diaries, this is my absolute favorite of hers. Actually it might be my favorite Disney movie ever, ok no Beauty and the Beast and Cinderella are always going to be my absolute favorites but Mary Poppins is in the top three. Aaaand I still don't own it on DVD yet--shame on me! (PS-my goal is to own all my favorite Disney movies by the time Zach and I start having kiddos--I NEED Mary Poppins y'all!)
//2// Alex and Ani Bracelets - You might have seen these gorgeous bracelets on some other lovely bloggers' fashion posts. Ever since I saw Samantha's US Army bracelet, I've been drooling over this one and this one. Oh and about a few dozen others but those two are my favs. Big Plus--they're made in the good ol' US of A!
//3// Sarah Horn Books - I mentioned in my vlog that I've been reading the book How Can I Possibly Forgive? and it's really given me a taste for reading a few of Sarah's other books. The three top on my list are Tour of Duty, My So-Called Life as a Submissive Wife, and My So-Called Life as a Proverbs 31 Wife. Also she's having a sale this week so each of the above specified books are only $7 each. Ladies and gents, the absolute perfect birthday present!
//4// Pretty Chic Wordpress Theme - I've been really really itching to get my blog on Wordpress for awhile now. There are soooo many scary stories about Blogger and I'd love to be on the safe side with this little blog of mine. However, the move would probably cost around $250 when it's all said and done. Not an enormous amount of money but definitely more than I can justify spending on this little space at the moment. Someday.
//5// Photoshop Elements 12 - Because the trial version of this I've been using just ran out and both Zach and I would use it. Me for design and him for photos. Plus it would work for handily with the Mac we're planning on getting once we inherit the fortune from the old great uncle we have yet to meet.
// Things that Didn't Make the Top 5 but Are in the Top Ten //
