He's My Lobster

Today is our first year anniversary!!! One year ago when I said "I do" to the handsome soldier in his dress uniform, I believed with all my heart that I would never love him more than I did just at the moment. Boy was I wrong!  If it's possible, I love him even more now than I did then. Which brings to mind one of my favorite songs--Then by Brad Paisley (Click on the title to listen to the song) .

Last year, when Zach and I said 'I do', I wasn't sure that we would be spending our anniversary together. As a matter of fact, I didn't think we'd even be in the same hemisphere since his deployment was scheduled to begin in June. I feel so blessed that I'm sitting here waiting for him to come home from work today instead of waiting for a phone call from halfway across the world.  So, even though I was right and the Army is keeping him at work two hours longer than they were supposed to, I am so very happy because he's coming home sooner or later (and he gets a four day in honor of the 4th).

And since I have some unexpected extra time, here are some pictures of my love and I in honor of our anniversary. Love you baby. <3
