3. What songs were you obsessed with? 'Wanna Be' by the Spice Girls and 'Summer of 69' by Bryan Adams. I would also secretly listen to the country radio station and dance to all the songs (Honky Tonk Badonkadonk anybody?) when I was supposed to be doing homework.
4. What fashion statement do you look back at and cringe? Oh gosh--ALL OF THEM. I had ZERO taste in clothes back then. I was really into long skirts that made me look even shorter than I already was and dressing like a mini-accountant. Neither of those were good fashion choices.
5. Who was your celeb crush? Again, I'm going to be completely honest with y'all and admit that this question is really the only reason that I decided to participate in this week's social. And I can say in all honesty that I see parts of my husband in each of them so I think it's ok that I still have a teensy bit of a crush on these fine specimens of manhood (Too much drooling? Yeah probably. By the way, this will also be my longest answer and I'm not even ashamed of that)
The Middle School Years
1. Jason Johnson--Y'all probably have never seen this kid before but he was my crush from elementary school to my first year of high school. He played in this really sweet and amazing movie that to this day I still love-'The Buttercream Gang'.
2. Ryder Strong--Better known as Shawn to all of those who loved him on 'Boy Meets World'. I just hearted the heck out of this kid--I mean come on look at that smile!
3. Adam Banks (Vincent Larusso)--The Mighty Ducks trilogy were my absolute favorite in middle school (and high school actually). And Adam was my second favorite character. Who was he second to?
4. Charlie Conway (Joshua Jackson)--This guy right here. Charlie was my absolute all-time longest crush, not only for the Mighty Ducks but also for my beloved Pacey in Dawson's Creek. Which brings us to......

The High School Years
1. Adam Brody--Seth Cohen! Was I the only one who thought he was the cutest sweetest nerd ever!! I was over the roof happy when he and Summer got their happy ending because they were the absolute cutest couple.
2. Ben McKenzie--Of course, the OC wouldn't have been the OC without Ryan--he is the sole reason I actually started watching the show. Although I didn't like him as much during the second and third seasons because of the whole Marissa debacle.
3. Joshua Jackson--Yep this is the same guy as number 4 from the middle school years. Joshua played my absolute favorite tv character until I watched One Tree Hill--Pacey Witter from 'Dawson's Creek'. I'll be honest--I know Dawson's Creek was supposed to be all about Dawson but seriously I hated that guy. Pacey, on the other hand, was the man of my high school dreams.
4. James Lafferty aka Nathan Scott--Ah Nathan, y'all can keep Chad Michael Murray/Lucas and his broodiness--give me Nathan in all of his sporty basketball hunkiness. There was only a very small time frame of the One Tree Hill when I didn't like Nathan and that was right after his back accident--other than that he's my favorite character of the series. Nathan and Haley's love story is, to this day, my favorite tv/movie romance, and incidentally it's actually a pretty good parallel to mine and Zach's. (If you haven't guessed it, I have a soft spot for bad boys with a heart of gold--take my husband, for example!)
Honorable Mentions (not pictured): Tom Cruise circa Top Gun; Chris Pine circa Princess Diaries; James McAvoy circa Atonement; Josh Duhamel circa Transformers
6. What was your favorite movie? Princess Diaries 1 and 2 hands down. I loved Mia, Lily, Nicholas, and of course I have always loved Julie Andrews (Mary Poppins anyone?).
And since I already told you that hubby and I did absolutely nothing this weekend, you probably have guessed that I did not succeed in planning something for this week's Autumn on My Mind linkup. I'm seriously horrible at anything that involves outdoor stuff, aren't I?
If we had done something fall-ish this weekend though, I would have loved to get lost in a corn maze. I've never been to any kind of harvest party so corn mazes and pumpkin patches is like Wonderland to me.
Will y'all count that as part of the linkup? If you want to see a real fall activity, go visit my girl Stephanie's blog because she's always sooo good at doing fun stuff with her hubby. (For their last fall date night, they went horse back riding!)
Rules of the Link-up:
1. Do one entry or all! It’s up to you!
2. Add your entry’s link below, and be sure to put the button in your post!
3. If you do link up, check out a couple fellow bloggers to see something new.
4. Your hosts (Elizabeth and Stephanie) would love a following on Bloglovin, but it is not required! We are just glad you stopped by for “Autumn on My Mind!”
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to immerse myself in a One Tree Hill marathon. Make sure to linkup your fall activities!
