Currently // November

It's November, guys! I'm so excited about that--it's kind of funny actually. I mean, fall/winter here is pretty much the exact same as spring/summer but just the thought of Thanksgiving and Christmas coming soon makes me incredibly happy. Am I the only one who loves the holidays? 
I hope not because I have a few incredibly fun things in store for this little ol' blog in honor of the upcoming holidays! But first things first, currently in November.

+ Crafting: Ooh I have a ton of crafty things up my sleeve. The holidays tend to bring out the crafter in me and Pinterest does absolutely nothing to help my holiday crafting obsession. Stay tuned for a few fab DIY's in the near future. 
+ Cooking: Lately nothing because I'm a horribly bad housewife and haven't felt like cooking in about a week. The struggle is real, my friends....major kudos to those of you who have kiddos and still do this whole housewife gig. 
+ Drinking: sweet tea. Loads and loads of it. Hubby and I have completely cut out soda so sweet tea has pretty much become our new drink of choice. 
+ Playing: Does watching someone play something count as playing? Because if it does, I'm "playing" the newest Call of Duty. Hubby is enjoying the Hawaii time difference and indulging in some day one game playing before bed. 
+ Wishing: that it was time to put up the Christmas tree already. Zach makes me wait until after Thanksgiving to even think about putting up the tree....mostly because if he didn't I'd have it up a few weeks before Halloween. Yep, I'm that person. 
+ Waiting: for my cold to go away! Honest, it feels like I've been sick for weeks and the sniffles are getting a little old....not to mention that even the softest of tissues are starting to hurt my nose. #sadday
+ Liking: having the hubby home for a four day weekend this past weekend. Thursday through Sunday, people....thank you, staff duty and Halloween! 
+ Wondering: if I'll be able to play this new Call of Duty game without looking like a newbie. Zach is already talking about a Call of Duty date night next weekend and the game has only been out a day. Here's to hoping I don't show my video game inability too much. 
+ Needing: to find a good recipe for butterbeer a la Harry Potter. If you're following me on Instagram, you know I tried a recipe for it on Halloween but I'm not sure if it tasted right. For one, I was still super sick and for two what does real butterbeer taste like??? I need to know y'all!! 
+ Smelling: puppy smell. Whenever it even thinks about raining and we take Duke outside, our house smells of "eau de dog". He gets a bath every week but somehow that dog smell is just a permanent visitor. 
+ Wearing: yoga pants and a navy t-shirt a la Patriots. Because hubby is still slightly peeved that Peyton and the Broncos lost last night and I'm still slightly gloating over the fact. #PatriotsNation
+ Listening to: Florida Georgia Line on Pandora. And itching to get my hands on Taylor Swift's new album. 
+ Obsessing over: our photos from the photoshoot with Caitlin yesterday! So gorgeous!!!!

+ Working on: the third edition of the Golden Vlog! I absolutely love the prompts for November and I can't wait to hear what y'all have to say about Thanksgiving and everything fall. + Looking Forward to: Our second photoshoot with Caitlin in two weeks! This one includes Duke and I absolutely can't wait! Also all of the swaps/gift exchanges I've signed up for this Christmas. Especially Operation Christmas Child. If you haven't checked that one out, you definitely should!!
