What is on the agenda though are these three goals to making my off-time more intentional.
//1// Make a work day schedule. I am guilty of forgetting half the things on my to-do list--mostly because my to-dos are in my head and not written down. This month I plan on putting my darling Heart and Arrow daily planner to good use and writing down everything I want to get done each week. That way I'll be able to come up with a schedule of sorts for each day and use the time I have when Zach's at work to complete the bulk of my to-do list.
//2// Set aside 30 minutes to an hour each evening for all things digital. This seems like the exact opposite of what my original goal is but it's not. Zach likes playing 2 or 3 video games during the evening but I know sometimes he's playing specifically because I'm busy on the computer. Setting aside an hour-ish for him to play and for me to either do something on the computer will, I think, actually help limit our time.
//3// Put away the phone! Ok, Zach can't really do this since he gets calls and texts after he comes home but for me it's definitely something I can make a point of. Am I the only one who spends an insane amount of time browsing pinterest and instagram on the phone??? Definitely need to make this a priority this month.
