Happy July! & My First Brigade Run

Happy July everybody! It's this time of year again--fireworks and barbecues and.....our very first wedding anniversary!!! WOW...I can hardly believe it's been a whole year since Zach and I said I do!!!

But our anniversary isn't the only thing that makes this week exciting. Yesterday, I got to participate in my very first Brigade Run!

Five A.M. is sooo early!!! It doesn't seem that early when I stumble out of bed long enough to give Zach a kiss and send him off to PT. Yesterday morning though?--the moon was still lighting up the dark sky! And they do this every day!!! Wooow!

And they're off! Since I'm not the best runner in the world *read really bad runner, I took a few shortcuts and let Zach, who is an amazing runner, take over for me while I took a few pictures.

None of which where you can see my hubby of course (Murphy's Law of Crowds) but hey, I know he's there, right!

And after the run came another formation. This one a lot smellier and sweatier than the first! That's us somewhere in that little circle section of the photo!
